- The Geissele MRGG 6.5 Creedmoor 16" Bbl Black Rifle is a precision-engineered firearm designed for long-range shooting and tactical applications. Featuring a 16" Cold Hammer Forged barrel with a 1:8 twist, this rifle delivers exceptional accuracy and durability. The rifle is equipped with a Geissele suppressor-ready flash hider, a Super Modular Rail MK16, and a Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group. The ambidextrous controls and ergonomic design ensure ease of use, making it an ideal choice for both competitive and tactical shooters.
- The upper receiver is manufactured from aircraft grade aluminum, and is type 3 hard coat anodized. The ambidextrous charging handle allows it to be easily manipulated by left and right handed shooters. The charging handle design reduces exposure of gas to the shooters face by assisting in sealing the gaps between the receiver and charging handle. At your fingertip and purpose-built for precision is the Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced (SSA-E®) Trigger. The bolt carrier is machined and finished in our Nanoweapon Coating. The design features extended rails in the upper quadrants to reduce carrier tilt and promote smooth operation and feeding. The completely free floated Super Modular Rail features full-length M-LOK compatible slots at the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions as well as the upper and lower 45 degree quadrants. The rail is machined from aircraft grade aluminum, and is mil- type 3 hard coat anodized. The 12 o’clock top rail features a full-length M1913 Picatinny interface and is precisely machined for flatness across the length of the rail. This flatness is critical for ensuring co-aligned optic systems are perfectly in line with each other, thereby making this the ideal platform for shooting with night vision and thermal equipment. The MRGG-S features a braided wire buffer spring. This design has 3 strands of wire which are wound together to form the spring. This design dampens high frequency vibration in the spring and allows for longer spring life. The weight and force curve of the spring were designed specifically for the MRGG. The bolt catch on the MRGG has been extended and slightly oversized to ease ambidextrous operation. The upper and lower paddles allow a left-handed shooter to engage them with their index finger which greatly simplifies operation of the weapon system. The MRGG’s lower is precision machined from aircraft grade aluminum and finished in type 3 hard coat anodize. The lower features a flared magwell for easy magazine insertion. The trigger guard is oversized to allow easy trigger manipulation even with gloves. The MRGG-S features a mil-spec diameter receiver extension with a comb height and length of pull adjustment stock. It is compatible with any stock available which fits a mil-spec receiver extension (buffer tube).
